Admissions Overview

Kranthiveera Sangolli Rayanna Sainik School, Sangolli, is a premier residential school established to provide high-quality education while instilling discipline, leadership, and patriotism in students. The school operates under the Sainik Schools Society, Ministry of Defence, Government of India, with the primary objective of preparing students for entry into the National Defence Academy (NDA) and other careers in the armed forces.

Eligibility Criteria

• For Class VI Admission:

  • Candidates must be between 10 and 12 years of age as of 31st March of the admission year.
  • Admissions are open for both boys and girls.

• For Class IX Admission:

  • Candidates must be between 13 and 15 years of age as of 31st March of the admission year.
  • Candidates should have passed Class VIII from a recognized school.
  • Admissions for girls are subject to vacancy availability.

Admission Process

• Admissions to Class VI and Class IX are strictly based on performance in the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
